Before
going to work at Harvest International
I had prayed and asked the Lord to help
me find a position somewhere that would
be meaningful to His Kingdom and not just
a job. I was so blessed when Jodie Johnson,
my daughter-in-law, called and asked me
if I would be willing to volunteer to come
in and answer the phone and help with getting
the end of the year financial statements
in the mail. I fell in love with the staff
as well as the missionaries I came in
contact with. It
wasn’t too long after
that when I joined what I
call my Harvest Family. |
I love being a part of a family team that has the
Kingdom of God’s interest as a priority.
My overall responsibilities include answering
the phones, greeting visitors, and processing
incoming and outgoing mail. My favorite
time at work is on Wednesday mornings. That
is when we have our staff and prayer meetings.
After we have our discussions, we each are
given a stack of envelopes with the name
of the donor that week and we pray for them
individually. I cannot tell you how many
prayers we have seen answered through this
ministry. |
