Tom & Ginger Schmidt have worked in Haiti since 1985; sometimes living in country, other times going in regularly from the states; and even, for a short period, going in to help while living and ministering in the Dominican Republic.

Throughout, our goal has always been to minister to families and children, one–on–one. Since 2010, we have been able to minister to handicapped children; caring for their physical, as well as, spiritual and emotional needs. Together, we have also been able to help some families learn special exercises and how to meet dietary needs their children might have.

​

With God's help we desire to teach God's word through Bible study, and a church plant in the zone where Shiloh Children's Home is located—in the Central Plateau. Lord willing, this would include a preschool where SCH children can integrate with neighborhood children to read God's Word about His marvelous creation.

Our constant focus is to witness the Truth of Salvation through the Word of God.
